    Default White bellied sea eagle

Sighted this in Sunderban while on the launch. This is a record shot, as it was a bit far away and I got only a few shots as the launch was moving in the opposite direction.

    Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, f6.3, 1/1250, ISO 400, +0.7 EC, hand held, cropped.

    Comments and critiques welcome..

Nice record image. This elegant eagle is not very common but is a resident in the lower region of the Sundarbans towards estuary. It is a formidable coastal hunter and breeds here. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice image of the eagle Mrudul. Seems you photographed it before the storm. The light seems bad. Thanks for sharing.

It was a kind of grab shot. By the moment I could raise my long lens and get focus, the launch had moved ahead and the frame came inbetween. So I missed the split second to click. I guess Mrudul got one or two shots with whatever settings she had in the camera.

    Thanks for sharing.
