New Tigers

Hello all members, these were the 2 among 3, 6 months old cubs of Siddhababa tigress. Shot last week on Tala zone safari. They were sat high on the hillock right side towards Siddhababa area. (Record Shot)

D3000, 300mm, 1/125, f5.6, ISO 400, +3EV.

Nice pose.Nice setting.The mood is reflective of the cubs enjoying the safety of the alert mother nearby.I think I might have seen a similar pose in an advertisement of Incredible India (Book:Insight Guides: Indian Wildlife carries a near similar photograph of two cubs resting after a meal ).Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Did you use a 300mm zoom or a prime?

It is always a pleasure to watch cute cubs. They fill us with hope. Wish you had a clear sighting in the open. However, I am sure it would have been a great experience. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone for viewing and comment. @ Patra sir, I have used 300mm zoom. The time was around 6am, the light was poor more on that they sat on a shady area. It was my ill luck. The image is cropped, we have 5 person in a gypsy and everyone tried to make a good shot so the vehicle was rocking like a boat and the cubs were enjoying the circus. But there is no doubt it was a great experience. Thanks.
