    Another unidentified spider. ID gets a beer!

    EOS 40D, MP-E-65, MT-24EX, ISO 100, Manual Exposure, f16 1/200.

    thats fantastic image.Nice sharp eyes.more depth would be better.

    Lovely. Its sharp. f16 and still this limited depth of field. It is tough to get higher dof when you are so close to the subject. I am surprised there are no takers for your Beer.

    Wow! Looks like an alien! By the Abdomen, I would say its a lynx spider, but lynx spiders are usually not so hairy... I've got a record shot of one if you want to compare, please reply...

    Abhishek,

    Almost certainly not a lynx, but some species of jumping spider. I agree that the pattern on the abdomen is very lynx-like. They tend to jump on the lens when you are photographing them, an action that usually has me jumping out of my skin!

    This is an img of a GREEN JUMPING SPIDER I found in google imgs. This is however the type found in queensland, australia. Looks similar, though not same.
