Nice resting pose. The paws of the lioness look nice. What is the metal container (?) near the tree in the background? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mrudul for your comments, The RCC container is kept by forest guards for water near the tree where these lions rests. We saw one forest guards jeep standing nearby with one person inside who was monitoring the behaviour of these two and was making some readings on the papers. We visited this location twice and that person was there at some 50 feet away from these two.

It is unfortunate that the health of our wilderness areas has deteriorated to such an extent that the forest department has to place water buckets. It will become such a regular feature that perhaps coke and pepsi will manufacture water bottles for lions
