    Default Coppersmith Barbet

I have been obsessed with this bird for over a week now. Trying to sight and photograph every morning. I like the call of the bird and the movement of the breast with each call.

    AV mode; 1/1250; f7.1; ISO 400; 100-400@400. 50% all over crop.

Considering the not so good quality of the image, posting this image is a self-indulgence.

I absolutely agree with you Anandji. The barbet is a test to your patience and indulgence. I see a flock of them behind my house on a peepal tree everyday. Its been quite a task to click them. What surprises me is their tremendous capacity to eat. They just keep eating Thanks for sharing.

Nice perch and eye contact. The catchlight looks nice. You could have tried a horizontal composition and that would have helped to make the bird look larger in the frame than in a vertical frame. Good that you could get a decent image. Good luck for next time. Thanks for sharing.
