Sabyasachi sir, this was witnessed near the Tadoba lake.
A purple moorhen walks nonchalantly across the green plains at Mangalajodi, India. The place is a haven for winter birds that migrate to India.

Well done here Mrudul, this is well framed and the mood is nicely set. The eyes of the fox are still sleepy and matches perfectly with your narration. Congrats on the new gear.

2 gaurs locked horns and it was a moment to behold. With the sightings drying up at TATR in the last couple of weeks one had to make the most of what was around and we didnt complain.

Thats one hell of a sighting there, any images of the crow carrying the weaver chicks !! Congrats and tfs
I really like the look on this one. The colors are nice and vibrant, well exposed and sharp as it should be. Tfs doc.

Here's a repost of the edit that I did with some CW rotation and I have cropped it further to avoid some of the distracting bg.
Thanks guys, i always had the doubt about the tilt but I think its because of the same reason mentioned by Murugan.
Nice one here Sucheth, an interesting compo. An eye contact by the 3rd bird would have enhanced the compo. Tfs
The details have come out really well. This one looks like a juvenille. Would have liked to see the rest of the tail and seeing a vertical would make this a more impactful composition. Thanks for...
Just returned from a short trip to mangalajodi and was a delightful experience to add some more species to my bird list. Had a short but fruitful trip and a chance to meet some old friends and make...
Remembered this image after seeing Bibhav's post (thx brother) that I had clicked some time back at LRK which was not processed. Done some quick edits and posted. Unfortunately for more than 1...
In the last few days I have been searching quite desperately for some tutorials on monitor calibration (esp for the laptops). What looks good on my system is merely relative to what my screen will...

The open paw looks good and so does the eye contact. This sighting is memorable for me just like the trip, some fantastic sightings and some really interesting people, just couldnt get enough of it....

The colors have come out well. The catchlight looks good, the image looks a lil over saturated. Also I think adding some more of the habitat would have helped by increasing the breadth of the image....

Such a cute and angry stare.. Well done here. These owlets always make up for a cute sight ...
Although a little tight I really like the composition here. Its so unfair that the male lions in our country are relatively smaller than their African cousins but what can we do about it !! Hope you...
