Sabyasachi Patra is an award winning Director of Photography, Filmmaker and Conservationist based out of India who quit senior positions in corporate world to pursue his passion for filming and create a difference. He is founder of IndiaWilds® and Wild Tiger Productions.

Filmmaking is not just science and art but also philosophy as well. Our approach is based on the quiet meditative way that we use in wildlife filming. We bring a sense of calmness and warmth to capture the essence of your organisation without causing chaos and disrupting your busy corporate life. We want to understand what you want to be and through our films help modify the perception and morph your organisation into it.

We do select shoots for Corporates and have shot for Amex, Colin's Airspace, Netflix, Sotheby's International Realty, BCG, Mediacom, GSMA/Bharti Airtel etc. Prior experience in senior positions in industry makes it easy for us to seamlessly shift between the filmmakers & clients perspective. In interview situations our corporate experience helps put the CEOs at ease and saves precious executive time.

Our recent film "Discovering Rann" , of 26 mins duration, showcases the unique landscape and biodiversity of Rann of Kutch. It has special emphasis on showing the behaviour of wildlife, their unique adaptations to survive in the desert ecosystem of Kutch and the life and death struggles and conservation challenges.

Our Documentary "Jewels of Thane Creek" was created for Maharashtra Government, Mangrove Cell, GIZ and Indo-German Biodiversity Project on Coastal & Marine Protected Area to highlight the unique mangrove ecosystem of Thane Creek and its impact on Mumbai.

Pound for pound, the leopard is the most powerful predator. Like the mysterious black panther, we love to pack in a big punch. We own and use the latest professional equipment like the Canon Cinema C300 cameras, Canon 1D X Mark II, Sound Devices mixers and recorders, OConnor fluid heads and tripods, sliders, Aerial copters etc. to shoot and create world class imagery.

IndiaWilds® has been at the forefront of Photography education through IndiaWilds online forums. We have conducted workshops in prestigious institutions like National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad), Xavier University Bhubaneshwar, Loyola College (Bangalore), Marlabs, Nokia. Our images have been published in WWF Coffee table books, magazines, journals,exhibitions etc.
