This in continuation to my postings of recent trip to Kabini, I am sharing another image of this young male leopard that was seen resting on a small tree. This is full frame image with no cropping done; I like this image, simply because it portrays the natural habitat of these cats. I used ISO 400 for this shot and still managed a decent shutter speed of 1/125 sec for a still subject. Further I made attempts of increasing ISO to 800 and 1600, I am quite happy that no noise is visible and yet again it proved that Canon 1D Mark IV can take even over ISO 2000 to give a noiseless image. I will share the other images with higher ISO’s in the coming days, just in case you have missed the previous leopard image showing its stealth and real time narration, you may wish to follow the link below:
