    It is great that you got it cleanly. The prey is a bonus. The eye contact is nice. The dragonfly is held at an angle to the beak and looks nice. I agree with Roopak that the sharpening is high. For cropped images, despite higher shutter speed a monopod or tripod will be a bonus. Monopod often helps as a walking stick and also gives the arm some rest when you are in the field for long hours. It certainly helps in bringing out more details in the image. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

    Juicy dragon fly in mouth , nice comp , good eye contact what else one can ask for. Lovely image TFS , looks little over sharpen.
