Lovely composition. A +EC would help with more details around the blacks. Some noise is visible maybe due to the crop. The high shutter speed has helped freeze the action. The trailing water droplets adds to the take off. Lovely wingspread and nice details all around.

Nice take-off pose captured. Liked the wing spread and the colours. The composition looks fine. Agree with the above comments. Thanks for sharing.
In wild life photography the image quality improve several notches when the animal or bird is moving out of the frame ie not away from the photographer. Normally when we move closer to birds they move away by flying off, similar situation to this image. So when one waits along the wetland, preferably behind a hide or bush, there are chances that after sometime the bird due to some other disturbance or due to natural causes flies towards the photographer. That would make for a much better image.
As noted by others the shutter speed and wing spread is fine. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
