    Default The raised end...

    ID: Fruit piercing moth caterpillar

A hind end of the pale coloured Fruit piercing moth caterpillar
Came across a couple of fruit piercing moth caterpillars along the trail, and one of it seemed to have been stationary, almost frozen onto a pose and didnt move much, while I had thru the whole trail. The beauty had its front curled up and the rear end raised onto the sky with its hind most legs positioned up similar to the kicking of a horse.

Nice close-up. Good colours and details. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting closeup. What was its size? Flash has burnt some of the whites, else it looks good.

    Cheers,
