ID: Tiger beetle(specific id appreciated)
This particular outing seemed to have brought out the tiger beetles, of different sizes and patterns, in huge numbers. With huge numbers of them, mostly hyperactive and hyper alert, framing them was quiet a task, and the same was for the mating pairs, which somehow managed to keep us on our toes, and bruised knees. Eventually came across this pair, slightly tiny one, which also seemed a bit hyperactive, but luckily, atleast for a short moment, didnt flee off. This gave me a chance to attempt a different sort of frame, a top down view of the beauties, almost like a drone shot.
It was interesting to notice how the male would open up its front limbs wide apart, almost like a stretched out pose.
