I love the eye contact. It is just about to strike into the tree trunk to pick up a juicy grub. Some really sharp and strong beak. Just imagine the impact it would be having on its head and how its tiny brain is protected from the near constant shock due to the hammering of the beak on the tree. God has designed well. Thanks for sharing.
