Found this at karanji lake , Mysore . Really a splendid, long creature . Had to stalk him slowly from a peddle boat .

clicked this at ranganthittu bird sanctuary this month .... the season has started so many spot billed pelicans , open-billed storks , painted storks and spoonbills have arrived . Had a gala time...

Nice image nitin , nice eye contact . You can use adobe photoshop to resize the image . If you have it now then just click on Image tab and under that , click on Image size . There you go . Thanks...

Had a perfect morning . Went to ranganthittu early morning by 7. Did some whole hearted birding . Came across this mugger while boating . He was lazily gazing at the birds . Tried a lower angle shot...

sorry everybody , i guess while resizing the pic , it has lost its sharpness . The original image looks fine .

Nice image but the ibis in the back is a distraction i think . I have to agree on the previous comments about harsh lighting . I think , it should have been placed on the left of the frame . Thanks...
