Bharatpur August 2012.
No way. Gave it up ages back.
Yes. Most of my cropping work was either on the contact sheet or in the dark room. Unless I was using my large format Linhof.
Lol.......... they were there for the asking Sabyasachi. No crawling need
Blacknecked Storks sightings are slowly becoming a rare in B'pur. Only 3 pairs have been spotted in the last 2 to 3 years.

Anashi Dandeli Tiger Reserve- July 2012
Not to worry- focus perfect.
There are 3 or 4 of the pair together. No, not a repeat :-) Will try and post one of female and another one with the heart shape on the back the next time. You could visit my Fb page 'Birding in Goa'...
Bharatpur seems to be teeming with these at this time of the year. They are seen as if they've been put on show.
The female of the pair is lower down the trunk. Anashi/ Dandeli Tiger Reserve. Not the best :-(
I goofed somewhere along the line.
Bharatpur. August 2012. Canon D1100. Lens EF-s 55-250 mm.
Another of the series.
Lol............ good on you.
This was in Anashi Dandeli Tiger Reserve, Karnataka. Shot in the late evening- hi ISO hence grainy. Heart-Spotted Woodpeckers not there in Bharatpur.
Anashi- Dandi. This was evening. Quite honestly quite by chance did I see this pair. Albeit, made my whole visit.
Sadly, you guys have lost the appreciation of B&W. Textures are show up far better.
Bharatpur. August 2012. A pair of Lesser Pied.
I had ghastly weather and light conditions for those two and a half days that I spent there. The pair were pretty sedentary and gave me enough time to shoot but I was shooting with a high ISO...
