Here's a processed version with the magenta reduced and green enhanced....the magenta cast has happened because of the colour temperature of the evening light...
This is an amazing sighting! That you could get so close while the mother was away....does it not have the potential to disturb and bring harm to the cubs at this stage of their lives, if the mother...
Thanks all - this is a personal favourite of a sighting...it lasted about 15-20 mns. Was scary to begin with and charged with high drama, throughout, as she appeared to be hungry and was in a 'hunt'...

Ever seen a kid forlorn, lost and crying for it's mother? I think this was what was happening with this juvenile Changeable hawk eagle....
By the way is this owl a Brown fish owl or a Tawny fish owl....some people have told me it may be the latter because of the whitish whiskers....although for a Tawny the tarsus needs to be 2/3rds...

Thanks all....this is a 15% crop to remove an area which was burnt out as the sunlight was coming through some leaves and the ISO was high. Sabyasachi my 300 mm f4 prime is the older non VR lens....

Thanks all. Anantharaman, bad that you missed it, but such is the luck of the jungle...This was the 1st time I saw tigers in Corbett and what a sighting it was....4 sub adults and their mother. Got...
