This is one of the best shot of the species and well done Srikanth.
This is much much better than the original version.
A bit lower angle would have made it more pleasing.
Regards,
Dileep
Good composition and angle.
Images looks heavily over saturated. Also details seems to have lost. Is this heavy crop from original?
If you have RAW file pls see whether you can fix saturation issue.
Thanks for sharing the wonderful photo of this fowl.
BG looks bit overprocessed. See whether you can correct that.
It's such a live capture and not many get luck to see this elusive cat, and very seldom poses such as this.
Well done and thanks for sharing.
Would have been a classic capture if you had enough shutter speed to freeze the movements. Nevertheless, it's a Tiger and that's what matters most. Well done!
With best regards,
Dileep
Excellent angle and so the lighting. It seems you lost some details in PP (may be by noise reduction). Otherwise an outstanding image.
Kind regards,
Dileep
Nice posture and excellent lighting. Wish you had more pleasing bokeh.
Beautiful image with pleasing bokeh and fine details. Only nitpicking... wish you had the tail also in focus.
Dear all,
Yet another one from our Himalayan trip (Sattal). One pair was spotted busy taking bath in a small stream. They were so restless and therefore it's difficult to freeze their movements.

Hi Doc,
Nice capture of this beauty.
IMHO a bit more tight frame placing the eye off centre with more space towards the direction of flight would have made it more interesting.

Hi Rajan,
Excellent capture and thaks for sharing.
As Srivari suggested, it looks bit over exposed.
Shutter speed of 1/800 to 1200 is good enough for larger birds. This way you can reduce...
Thanks everyone for your feedbacks. You are right about the vertical frame. It looks much... much better when I did that.
Srivari; no BG darkening was done. Basically it was at least half f/stop...

As Sabyasachi suggested, Gitzo monopods are much... much lighter than Manfrotto ones and ideal for trekking, and my obvious choice.
Btw, any idea...
Thanks a lot Sabyasachi and Srivari for your feedback. This was handheld and with the current vr lenses it is rather easy.
I very seldom use the tripod at wild as by the time you get the camera...
You are absolutely right Abhishek, I should have used f/11 or at least f/8. I feel tempted to go for higher shutter speeds whenever I feel tired at field. That could be reason for this mistake.
