Another from the Parambikumal collection. It is a full frame. The background on the original (9MB RAW) is plain black, but when I reduce the size (Photoshop) some spots appear and seem to be burnt. Wonder why . .

Dear Rajan,

This is not a chameleon, its a Garden Lizard, Calotes versicolor.

Looks like you need to rework on the post processing of the image. It can be sharper and levels need to be worked on.
