Hi Mrudul, nice catch and very apt title, appears that you will be taking off as well! I'm trying to figure out what it has in its claws.

Can you try a closer crop?

    Thanks Apana and Murugan.

We had seen the carcass but were not able to make out. From this image we can see something with scales, so wondering if it is a snake. Not sure.

    Nice one Mrudul,
good DOF. Good that you were able to maintain the focus in flight... Slight toning down of highlights and a boost in sharpness would be great...

    Stunning Shot Mrudul

Do you think a higher ISO would have provided a higher shutter speed to freeze the wingtip details ? I am just thinking aloud . . . . maybe you and the experts can correct me if i am wrong . . .

    regards

    Thanks Bibhav and Rajan.

Yes I agree about the sharpness, a higher ISO would have definitely got the wingtip sharper. If you refer to the similar photograph created by Sabyasachi, he was using 1/1600. The ideal in this condition would have been to use around 1/2500 to make it fully sharp. So definitely that needed bumping up the ISO.
