this common bronzeback tree snake likes to "hang out" from the all-spice tree that is it's home....

Very nicely composed. The image looks a bit smudgy, is there any noise reduction done here? Try bringing down the highlights. What software do you use for post-processing?

thanks Abhiskek...your input will be helpful..
yes...noise reduction is one..and I use photoshop elements....
..would appreciate a few tips.....thanks again..
I suggest Lightroom v3.0 or later (and you will find quite a few Indiawilds members recommending it ). LR allows more fine changes, including finer noise reduction. It is designed for photographers, whereas Photoshop is more for digital art.
Here's a quick LR tutorial by Sabyasachi: http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2287
Look forward to more, Jim.
many thanks Abhishek.....

Your garden seems to be virtual menagerie! there seem to be a whole lot of wonderful creatures inhabiting it.Lucky you!The composition reflects the vitality of the snake. TFS
thank you Shyamala..the lake next to my house, brings in all these "friends".....!!..
Its a Common Bronzeback Tree Snake. Lovely large eyes with round pupil.
If it can playfully leap from branch to branch, why should it not hang out!
Just look at its tongue when you find it next time, it is black ( if red, it is Painted Bronzeback, but not this one). Although non venomous, please keep a safe distance because it is very fast and bites repeatedly, if cornered.
Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
thanks for viewing Saktipada..and for the info too..
