    Beautiful details. Was the crop around the reflection of the bird in the water ? If so, would love to see the mirror image on the water.

    Default Now posting the the full shot of the above

    This is the un cropped image.

    I shot this from a big distance with 500mm in late afternoon light,as a result no get much details. I approached on my foot towards the bird, that means the bird saw me very well, so i could not got very close to it.Can any one tell me about using a hide and from where i can get some one?

    Nice to see this abhirup.Good eye contact . there noise in the BG.

    You can buy canvas material hides on the internet, but its every easy to make one as well. A hide is something to hide in... which should be easy to carry around, light weight, water proof if possible and should not look very conspicuous or out of place where u intend to use it. You can make one with a few gunny sacks and sticks, the toy tents children play in can be used as well just need to change the canvas to a camouflage material. I regularly use a large basket like structure woven with the coconut fronds.... hope im making some sense here..
