every time we see a supercomputer or a robot we are astonished by the intricate mechanism,but seldom we succeed to appreciate the finest mechanism of balance found around us since time immemorial...the balance of nature,the network called foodweb.people often create mayhem and often quite logically albeit apparently raise the question why so much of amount being spent for project tiger/project elephant or like that are they the only important species on earth?obviously not!but as an apex species they are the keystones!so that when a tiger is protected all the other pegs in the food web in relation are also protected!protection of tiger is thus valuable to protect these species below in the level of the pyramid just as they are also equally important for the survival of the tiger.it is not the elephant that raids the crops is the perenial problem of the villages on the fringes of the forests,what we overlook is the thousands and lakhs of these tiny creatures come as a blesing to help the pollination.
