Pied Paddy Skimmer....Male
The presence of these types of dragonflies encourages many migratory birds to visit Puchakary wetlands near Trivandrum city.In an earlier visit we could spot several types of migratory birds.....

Lovely, the colour pattern has come out impressive, black and greyish black body with black and white wings and transparent tips.The Pied Paddy Skimmer (Neurothemis tullia) is a fairly common species of dragonfly found in south and south-east Asia. Thanks for sharing
