    ID correction please...

    As per me, it should be Little-ringed Plover, as the black colors are less pronounced, i guess it may be female. these little creaters are one of the first winter visiters to Indian subcontinent and remain till last, around Apr-May.

    It appears to me to be 'Little Ringed Plover': Charadrius dubius: in non-breeding plumage. Also found in Rajarhat, East Kolkata in first winter.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

    Khoob bhalo image ..... One can see a lot of plovers especially around this time near swamps or more near the beaches. I was in Ganpatipule beach last year around this time and the beach had plovers all around the place. Thanks for sharing.
