    Nice picture. Good you got it with the Caterpillar. The details seem soft (probably noise reduction). Beautiful head turn and nice eye contact.

    Like the eye contact and the prey in its beak. The bg looks nice too. Agree with Rajanji's comments. I am also still getting used to this lens (I also have the same combo D7k+300f4+1.4x tc). Thanks for sharing.

    thanks for the reviews... yes noise reduction used... though i think the main reason is that I haven't used too much sharpening in ps... also, as it was a distant shot so decided against cropping...
