    Default Wolf Spider Up Close

A wolf spider (family Lycosidae) from Yeoor, Maharashtra. Many of these spiders are often found in the vicinity of (but not restricted to) jungle streams. The females can often be seen scurrying along the gravel or grass carrying a white spherical egg mass.

Lovely details and sharpness. Good eye contact. I feel just a bit more space at the bottom, to include the tip of the legs in the front would have been good. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.
