    Ratufa indica. In Bihar ( found south of the Ganga) and Orissa it is commonly called as 'The Indian Giant Squirrel'. Bright colours. Nice eye contact. Looks a bit disturbed, but allows close presence. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

    This shot was taken inside the forest rest house compound,may be they are very used to human presence.

    Extraordinary close up of a very fast moving and difficult to photograph mammal.Would to have loved to see the entire animal with a little bit of habitat.Thanks for sharing.

    I remember Bibhav had posted a few images from the forest rest house a couple of years ago. Lowering the saturation would be better. Some more space on the right would have been better. Thanks for sharing.
