    Nice to see so many birds frequenting this lake. Wish the ducks were a bit closer to get more details. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Mrudul and Roopak, thanks for sharing your views.
    This must be a manmade lake, a low bund kind of dam to collect rain water, in google map it is shown as "Mahboob sagar" you can see it if you search the map for sangareddy. Its a shallow lake having a good spread. This is the most versatile place for migratory birds I have ever found, though it will be lost soon to the development drive, the scrub area around the lake is being cleared, constructions are going on and a ring road is being constructed.
