Lovely composition. The whites on the back of the pelican are a little blown. Maybe a narrower aperture may have helped and would also have got the croc in sharper focus.
The timing of the shot is awesome and an equally nice caption.

This image shows the habitat and the two species well. Trying for some more depth of field by using a narrow aperture would have been good. These crocs are pretty intelligent and lie motionless. The birds normally don't make the mistake of landing close to the mugger. However, at times the birds fail to notice and come close and in such situations the mugger is ready to make a fast move. Thanks for sharing.
