It is always tough to shoot this species as they are primarily arboreal. In this case the habitat is shown well. I think this is a cropped image and the focus is slightly ahead of the subject. Nevertheless depth of field is nearly there. What was the aperture? Thanks for sharing.

The squirrel was near,almost 150 mtr from me.it is a full image...am seeing at first time the malabar giant squirrel thismuch close to me.Really a nice species.
nice jerin. there is some clutter in front of the animal which is distracting and the focus has probably locked on the twig in front.
