    Default Crested Hawk Eagle

Sighting a tiger has always been special. As they say there is always an omen which precedes a good sighting, for me the omen is raptors. Many times it has worked, not always though. But I would still like to think of it that way . This hawk eagle gave us ample time to picture it and soon after we sighted a lovely tigress in the Kolsa region of Tadoba.

Did you sight it early in the morning? Lighting the shadows a bit would also be nice. From this steep angle, it appears a bit angry. Thanks for sharing.

The crest looks nice. Liked the way it is resting one leg. Slight more space at the top would be good. A lesser ISO would have sufficed here. Thanks for sharing.

nice. i wish i get to see a tiger every time i see a CHE... for me that wud be practically every time i visit a jungle...the only raptor which beats it in frequent sightings is the CSE, atleast in the south.

Nice image. It has possibly been photographed in cold winter and it is a treat to watch how it is conserving heat ...such pose we normally find in water-birds. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild
