I used a torch as a reference light to acquire focus. But seems that i got the primary focus somewhere in front of its head, although the f9 has covered it to the head too... Whatsay?

The head seems to be in good focus, and the front flippers are in sufficient focus... Doesn't seem like you missed the head by too great a distance. The gradual OOF of the rest of the body looks good...
