Nice you got it looking towards you. A slight light on the face would have been nice, not in your hands though. If possible you could have tried moving the camera just a bit more to the right to avoid the broken branch on the left. Thanks for sharing.

Probably that was the only angle possible to see it in full through all the dry branches. Here is an Image to have an Idea how the tree was. Sorry for poor processing. Raw processed in Picasa.
