Very colourful and photogenic bird. Nice catch-light on the eye. I think a slight off-centered composition would have strengthened the image further. Thanks for sharing.

Side lighting for birds is a bit tough as some of the areas remain in shadows. Good that here you could get the light on the eye. It would have been interesting if the bee-eater had looked at its left (our right). In that case ensuring more space on the right would have been great and would have worked with the interesting wavy shape of the branch on the right. Thanks for sharing.
