Default Mating ritual or Killing ritual?

    ID: Six spotted Tiger beetle

Have encountered these beauties frequently at Bhandup Pumping station(BPS) but was surprised not spotting it at most commonly sighted areas, but eventually I stumbled upon few very fast moving specimens, but they were so swift I could hardly located them, forget framing them. But eventually spotted this pair, not sure if mating or killing(the hind one had caught the front one by its jaws). Luckily this time they were not very agile and, atleast for 2-3mins, were not bothered by my presence. Thats when I captured this frame.
