    Default LRK Diary Jan-2016

    Just back from LRK.
What a fantablous time we had , this female Montagu's harrier was just 10-15mtrs away with us , and myself lying calmly on ground and the bird was totally un-disturbed and not bothered about our presence.
    Canon EOS 7D M2 , Canon 500mm f/4+1.4 converter , f/8 , ISO-400 , +0.3 step , 1/1000 , Ground level shot.

Nice image. Good eye contact. Any special processing on the background or noise reduction done? Thanks for sharing.

If you are clicking a bird directly facing you then it is better to ensure that the bird is directly staring at the lens barrel. In this case its right eye (the one on our left) is not much visible. Moving a bit to your left or waiting for the bird to turn its head a bit would have been good. A bit lower angle would have been even better. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Agreed Sabyasachi da , here the bird is slightly towards my left side. I was lying on the ground hardly 10-15mtrs away and didn't want to cause further more dis-comfort to bird.
Though the bird was hardly bothered about our presence.

The camera was on the ground and not even on the bean bag.

Mrudul Ji , no special PP is done , slightly increase in sharpness in Lr only. I do not use PS for all my images.
