    Default The buzzer

This buzzer, the Carpenter bee, was on a rusty mood when it regularly kept on settling onto the tip of the dried twig along the Gandhi Tekdi garden area of SGNP. Though it was resting, it was highly alert of its surroundings and would wade off any other competitor Carpenter bee that came along the vicinity, or me getting close to get a good frame. After several attempt, finally got some decent frames, one of it being this one.

Nice close up. Good details. Was it possible to photograph without using the external flash? Thanks for sharing.

Was difficult as I was facing towards the sun, so without flash was difficult to capture it with all details.
