    Dhirendra,

Nice sequence. Are you saying that the wasp drove away the jumping spider and took its prey?

How long did the sequence lasted from starting to end? You can check your shots and you will get a rough idea about the times.

    Cheers,

Yes , the wasp drove the jumping spider away and took its prey.
    The sequence lasted for about 1hour and 12minutes. ( 3.33pm. to 4.45pm)

Nice sequence Dheerendra....this seems to be a spider wasp capturing a host for its larvae to feed on. there is a lot of interesting detail to this behavior of the spider wasp. what is really interesting is that it seems the spider wasp was trying to hide below the leaf to attract the jumping spider to the scene and get one more host. Did the wasp attack the jumping spider or did it just drive it away??? Did u see where the wasp took the spider? were there more than one jumping spiders on the scene ?

Thanks sabya sir and Roopak bhai.
It was not that wasp wants to kill jumping spider.just tried to escape the jumping spider to come.He frequently goes into hiding under the leaf.As soon as wasp hide jumping spider come. When jumping spider caught the prey of wasp then attacked by wasps.
Hold the hosts took the wasp.It put it in the hole made on the ground.
Roopak bhai there was only one jumping spider.

Nice sequence showing insect behaviour. So the wasp was hiding to get the jumping spider close and since it was not coming it left the scene. Once the spider came close, it immediately attacked the spider and got its prey. But as Dheerendra, mentioned it didn't attack the spider. Quite interesting. Thanks for sharing.
