Nice to see a tiger lying peacefully in the middle of the road . I liked the vertical composition here. How long was the sighting? Thanks for sharing.
Hi Mrudul - The total sighting lasted for about 15 min or so. During which this guy sat in the bushes for a while, moved inside the thicket and stood tall and scratched a tree (marking territory) , sprayed, decided to sit on the middle of the road, blocked the way for good 5 min before moving inside the jungle for good. He created quite a commotion and for some time I kept my camera aside and enjoyed watching him.
Sadly, there were vehicles almost running over each other and their occupants even more so. This disturbed his otherwise peaceful outing. It was at Magdhi zone. Thanks for looking in.
It must have been exciting to watch this male, he has got used to gypsy and commotion.
I am always interested in habitat shots. However, in this case the road occupies a lot of space in the frame. Close to around 2/3rd of the frame at the top the road attracts attention. So another angle would have been nice. May be moving a bit more to your right if possible would have been great. Thanks for sharing.

appreciate your inputs Sabya ! Will give it a try in the next opportunity. Personally, I like both habitat as well as close shots. I really like some of FF shots covering only a part of the face.. I have one as wallpaper on my mobile, and is my 7 year old's favorite !
Here I could have possibly given more space below the subject, but the area was in shade and I didn't want to cut the trees on the top frame abruptly. I agree moving towards right would have been a better option !
nice scene. agree with comments above. a closer frame will highlight the play of light and the coat of the tiger competing and completing each other.
