    Might have fallen asleep! The image depicts Indiawide phenomenon. Natural water scarce, and scarce.....Wild animals are more and more depending heavily on artificial/man-made pools. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

    Relaxing in the water during the hot day. Good details. Man made waterholes and that too made of cement is a common sight in Ranathambore . Thanks for sharing.

    Tiger needs adequate water. It becomes tough for it to handle the heat. The climate change related global warming is posing tough questions for the survival of the tiger.

    With more and more forests being cut, water intensive crops cultivated around the forests depleting the ground water levels a lot of streams are getting dry. If water doesn't percolate then it won't come out elsewhere to feed the streams. Some villagers had once entered ranthambhore with their cattle in 2002 (or may be 2003). After a few days they came out as the villagers complained that there is not enough fodder for their cattle within the national park. Go figure.
