The alien amongst us

Have seen several of them along the Nagla trail, and majorly only during the monsoon season. This particular one had taken refuge on top of a plant right in the middle of the path of Nagla trail and was huge enough to get a good close up shot, always intrigued me how beautifully alien-ic the body of it is.

Cropped by 25%, the background was the pathway of Nagla trail, it had perched on a plant right in the midst of the pathway. Overall it was a rainy day so had a overcast sky with shades of the jungle covering the light off. Didnt get any other angle with this one, but have long shot of the whole beauty which was a few feet away from this one
