    Default Dragonfly

When I went there I found a good many dragonflies. This Sunday the weather was good with no rainfall and with bright sunlight. So, I went out to Boisa Beel to record some of them. I made target to this dragonfly and shot some frames. Here is one of them to share with you. Wish you enjoy it.

Asking for experts' opinion for its ID.

    EXIF Info:

    Camera: Nikon D7000
    Lens: Nikon 40mm f/2.8 macro
    ISO: 200
    Aperture: f/10
    Shutter Speed: 1/500

Handheld, Edited(no brush, no manipulation- worked with just highlight-shadow etc), Cropped, Ring-flash fired.

    Thank you.

Nice image. Good details on the head portion. Since the light was good, you could have raised the ISO and tried with narrower aperture to get more of the body in focus. Thanks for sharing.

Nice one. I wish you had a narrow aperture like f16 or so. In macro photography the depth of field is very less due to low subject to camera distances. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
