    Default The Yellow Winged Fairy

This is the common grass yellow and are found in large numbers in our locality. The bright little yellow flapping near the ground easily attract the viewers' attention. After a period of some 15 minutes or so I ultimately able to frame it from a close distance.

    EXIF Info:

    Camera: Nikon D7000
    Lens: Nikon 40mm macro
    ISO: 400
    Aperture: f/14
    Shutter speed: 1/500

    Edited, Full Frame, Natural Light

    Thank you for viewing.

The composition looks a little too tight. Lovely details. Any other shots in the series? Short or medium telephoto lenses work better for butterflies, as you don't have to go that close.

Agree some more space all around would have been good. Wish the light was less harsh. What time was it photographed? Thanks for sharing.
