    Default On high alert

    ID: Weaver ant

One of the most expressive member of the ant family, these warrior type ants are always ready to show off the offensive side of them when they feel agitated by any trespassers, no matter how big the trespassers are. Here is the example of the aggressive behavior one of the ant decided to show off when we accidentally brushed pass its beautifully crafted leaf house.

Nice. A little more Dof would have been good. I would also try darkening the blacks. There are no details in the background, so you might as well darken it out to make the ant appear more striking.
Since you say "offensive" and "aggressive" - these are not perfectly true in this case, this is in fact truly 'defensive' behaviour on the part of the ant.

Nice behavior captured. Liked the low angle. Agree about the DoF. Thanks for sharing.
