    Default The fluorescent beauty

    ID: Blue tiger moth caterpillar

A beautiful subject we came across while exploring some unknown path(atleast for us) along the trail, this mighty fluorescent beauty seemed to be, initially, too busy moving on munching down one leaf to other. The lighting and the position seemed to be very interesting and attempted to naturally capture the caterpillar under the sunlight. There seemed to be a mighty moth too flying high along the trees, but we couldnt manage to frame it.

    EXIF:
    Canon 550D
    Canon 100mm macro
    F/8
    Shutterspeed 1/160
    ISO 800
    Handheld, no flash fired
