Lovely sighting of it basking in the morning sunlight. I love the eyes. The curved branch on the right is moving out of the frame, so avoiding it would have helped to enhance the composition further. Was it possible to move a bit more to the right and to compose with more space on the left? But that would have been a problem as the owl is facing to the right . Maybe it was not possible to avoid it in this scenario . Thanks for sharing.
I agree with Mrudul. I would have tried to do the same ie moving more to the right and clicking a side profile of this beautiful bird. Ofcourse if there was more space on the right to move. I always feel that this is a difficult bird to click as getting each strand of hair or feather becomes a challenge. So tripod, good shutter speed, no movement ie no jabbing of the shutter, accurate focus and sufficient depth of field is very important here. At times in safari it is not possible. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

What I find the best in the image is the eye part.
