Came across a magnificent sight when we spotted this mighty beauty busy laying the eggs. The mother seemed to have this reddish tinge in her eyes and kept steady despite the breeze that blew over the area, being situated over the higher part of the trail. It, steadily and meticulously, kept on laying layers over layers of eggs and seemed least bothered by our presence next to it. It seems this activity continued for the next 2 hours, later it moved on off the trail while we were returning back through the same path.
