Nice climbing pose. The tusker, owner of two large tusks with tip of one broken, has crossed his prime. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild
He doesn't seem to be in great health. In old age elephants face problem of chewing as their teeth get worn out. With invasives like lantana taking over our forests it becomes difficult for many native species to grow. The elephants and other herbivores do find difficulty in finding food.
Nice habitat photo. I liked this pose and the composition. Was he alone at the water hole? Thanks for sharing.
Nice image of the tusker walking away post a mud bath as it evident from its back and trunk. Reminds me of Kenneth Anderson's Gerhetti tusker, 3 tuskers he came face to face but the animal chalked out until he finally encountered the crossed tusker which was put down. This elephant reminds me of the first tusker, tusks wide apart. Thanks for taking me back to those moments. Thanks for sharing.
