I like the central placement in this image. Did you experiment with placing it diagonally?
The details on the body are good. F8 would have got the entire body in focus. The leaf curvature looks good and the flash has ensured a dark background... Good going...

This is a hawk moth of some sort.
Agree with Bibhav regarding the aperture.
