    Default The resting predator

    ID: Chalky percher

A frame of the beautiful and a potent predator, this ‘dragonfly’ was seen resting on the blade of the grass, surprisingly, almost still and wasn’t much disturbed by my approach towards it for framing it. Ode to this could experiment with different angles and eventually get this frontal view of the beauty. Few droplets on the grass blade aided in getting some drama, complemented with the bright day light.

Nice frontal view. Good details. The features are clearly visible. I agree the water droplets look nice. Thanks for sharing.

The composition looks nice. The wavy leaf and the details in the subject looks good. The water droplets add to the image. Wish the out of focus leaf in the background were a bit dull. Nevertheless, the overall image looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
